St. Patrick Bonus Day

A bonus post today. I saw a similar card to this on Pinterest, and actually CASE'd it. In CASE you didn't know I am not a big CASE person (copy and share everything). My creations are usually my own. I am not opposed to it but if I have enough ideas rolling around in my head why CASE.

Pinterest is filling up my free time. I love the DIY and CRAFT section. It is me, me, me to a T! I saw this card and thought it was a cute idea. Veering from my Palette Party colors this week, I thought, why not?

The original card used all one color green, might have been Old Olive. I like contrast to give definition so I decided on Lucky Limeade and its corresponding color Always Artichoke. Lucky Limeade is one of the In Colors going away at the end of May.

I first punched out the hearts and added the dashed lines so they could dry.
The stitched ribbon is a cinch to ruffle!!! You must try this at home. You pull the white stitching until you get the desired ruffle. I anchored one side around the brad and tied off the other end. I was able to hide tiny pieces of dimensionals under the ruffle to attach it to the card.

What do you think? Looks like spring to me.

Thanks for stopping by, happy stampin, Sandy
