Celebrating 100!

Our neighbor recently celebrated his 100th birthday. Yes 100! He is the longest residing resident in our neighborhood and oldest neighbor too. When the neighborhood first began he was the oldest neighbor then, in 1964, and I was the youngest, being the first birth in the neighborhood. While I would graduate high school, and move on, eventually I did come back, as you, a regular follower, might know.  His daughters were kind enough to invite a few select neighbors to celebrate the occasion. And of course, I had to make a handmade card for him. I decided a birthday such as this required something extra special.  I chose to do a shaker card with gold and silver because he deserves all the glitz. I used our large letters framelits, our glitter that is in the current Occasions catalog and I cannot remember where I got the greeting that is stamped underneath the shaker card part. The inside of the card is from the Number of Years stamp set.  His wife

Why I love Being A Demonstrator

Join my team before March 31 st and get two any value (up to $101) stamp sets included in your kit! I think it is safe to say the five ladies that were able to come to our Diva Day in March see why I have been a demonstrator consistently for almost 13 years! I love my Divas. We are more than teammates, we are genuine friends who support one another inside and outside our business. These ladies are the real deal. And expand that to include our Inking of You group! I am only 5 levels from the top of SU!, which is rare. Even more rare is finding that these ladies have been consistently involved since the day the day they joined. It is really rare to find that consistency in any business, especially with a DM Direct Market company. So, you want to get a discount on products and not build a business? Not a problem with Stampin’ Up! Most of us Demonstrators are in it for the discount. Can’t stick around forever, or even a year? Drop and come back! We are open to that, no pen

I Know You're Hungry Card Buffet

Deets: Make 12 cards, 2 each of 6 styles, class fee listed below It will be like a Stamp-A-Stack of cards but you get more choice in which cards you make. Cards will be simple and quick to stamp and assemble. How this event will work: I will have boxes for each card, around 10 card styles. In each box will be packets with the supplies for each card, you will make two of that card. You will take that box to your spot and work on those cards. When you are done you will bring that box back and choose another box to work on. You can choose up to 6 boxes. In other words, if you want to make 4 of a particular card, you will only get 5 boxes then. Card boxes are first come first serve. I will make sure that there is supplies for everyone to make 2 of each card in a box. Whatever cards are left at the end of the event will be offered as extra at the next event. So if you didn’t get to make it this time, and there are packets leftover, you can make it next time if you attend. A
