Manly Man #card Golf Pro punch art Convention swap

I love punch art cards and crafts. Love to look at and appreciate them that is!!! I think i would enjoy them more if I could get the hang of adhering the pieces easier.  I heard one of the Stampin' Up! creative artists say that glue dots are a crafters best friend. Have not had a chance to try it yet.   This darling golf punch art card was another swap I received in my manly man swap at Convention.  I give credit to the artist. Great use of the pennant flag punch, the dotted embossing folder and more.   Thanks for stopping by, happy stamping, Sandy

Halloween Spooky #card

Our recent Stamp Share downline meeting held a swap for the new mini catalog. I used the new Halloween Happiness single stamp.  I like the texture of the pumpkins and can see a lot of possibilities with it.  I saw a grungy card this time. To get the herringbone background stamp not so perfect was a little harder than i imagined but I got the hang of it.  To do it do not evenly ink up the stamp (I used summer starfruit) and just light rock the card layer on the stamp. Stamp face up on the table. No rubbing the backside of the paper like you would normally do with a background stamp. The big black splats were made using the Gorgeous Grunge splat and black ink.  I lightly ran a glue stick over the black and sprinkled the new Halloween glitter over the splats.  They come as a duo in fairly large containers of black and orange glitters.  Put this on your must have Halloween accessory.   I give this cards a 2 for difficulty. Pretty simple, but a little fussy with the herringbone piece and

Happy Birthday card with Hats

Needing a fun fold fast birthday card for someone special? I have just the ticket. This is another swap I received at the Convention Birthday Wow swap. I love the top note die and labels framelit die foldiover flaps. And the ribbon flags coming off the side. So trendy.  Thank you for stopping by, happy stamping, Sandy

You're my Hero

Who is the hero in your life? Mine is my husband. We all appreciate the effort of our local police, fire, and paramedic crews for their everyday efforts keeping is safe.  I received this card at Convention during the manly man swap. The card would be nice also to give to your local fire crew. They would like to be remembered for their service to your community.  Happy stamping. Sandy

Manly Coffee card

A very nice easy to replicate card that would be good for your guy, or any other coffee lover in your life. The demonstrator used the chalk talk framelit and then ran it through the herringbone embossing folder for the tag. She stamped the cup then stamped it again on DSP and cut it out. She used the new label punch for the greeting.  The early August weather is beautiful in Minnesota. Cooler temps make it easier to think about crafting. Or would you rather head outside because its nice? This is one of many manly man swaps I received at Convention.  Thanks for stopping by. Happy stamping,  Sandy
