Happy Mail at Last!

This catalog has had quite a journey! Being a Demonstrator we are able to pre-order select items from the upcoming catalog. At the time of the order we were able to have a catalog shipped in our box. I misunderstood the directions and skipped that part, never mind that I over-nighted my order so I could get my hands on that catalog.  I called Stampin' Up! the next day, they offered to direct ship one to me, sending it that day. I said no, I have already placed an order for boxes of catalogs for customers and those will come soon enough. (I am working on my patience here...) Turns out that order was delaying in picking and isn't due for delivery until next week now. Argh! It is just my destiny to get my hands on the catalog at the same time as my customers, right? Monday, I received an email from Stampin' Up! saying when they mailed me a catalog (part of a bulk mailing to all demonstrators who did not opt for one in the pre-order) that the post office would not a

Pineapple 2: a sweet new stamp

I am loving the single pineapple stamp from Stampin' Up! Available June 1st from my store, just click SHOP! In this project I paired the pineapple with the Pop of Pink product suite, which includes, the thick bakers twine in Melon Mambo, the Pop of Pink washi tape 5 pack, and the Pop of Pink specialty designer series papers. I added a few gold sequins from the sequin trim ribbon.  Oh, and I stamped the pineapple in Memento ink in black.  The stamp is quite tall, it's just about 5" tall and about 2.5" wide. I do not know whether it's the pineapple itself, or the patterns in the pineapple or stems that I am drawn too, but I want to keep creating with it for a while. There was a smaller single stamp a number of years ago, 4-5, somewhat pineapple Polynesian looking, I felt the same way about it. Guess you could say I like bold graphic images or bold single images when stamping, or general crafting, or home decor.  21 days until the new catalog. And oh are there many c

New Catalog Sneak Peek at Pineapple Stamp

Using the (soon to be released) Pineapple single stamp from Stampin' Up! And the new Playful Palette paper stack, and the new rouched Peekaboo Peach ribbon (one if the In Colors starting June 1), I created this card within hours of receiving  my pre-order.  Pre-order you say? Yes, as a demonstrator I can order select items ahead of the catalog release. One of my favorite perks of being a demo.  New In Colors are: Emerald Envy, Peekaboo Peach, Dapper Denim, Sweet Sugarplum, Flirty Flamingo. Available in ink pads, cardstock, markers, rouched ribbon, re-inker bottles, and enamel shapes on June 1st.  I also added a touch of Gold Wink of Stella to the pineapple points to add a little dimension.  Thank you for stopping by, Sandy
