MDS Surprise Road Trip

Done using My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up! So easy and quick to do. Try it today.

A Beginning and an Ending

I started out my day celebrating a new life in the family, my cousins first grandchild! Actually the first grand of that familial generation. Congrats to Ruth and Tyler! Your little bundle of joy and sleeplessness will soon be here. From there I went to the funeral of my friend Sue. Pictured above is what the Stampin' divas came up with for a memorial. Fresh flowers only last for days, paper flowers can last a lifetime. The names of all the Divas wrap nicely around the cross. We also had a display board of some of the stampin' events she attended and another board of some of her precious creations. Sue would never have believed this was all for her. She deserved it. She would have been so incredibly touched by the outpouring of gratitude for her boundless generousity of service to others. She served a life well lived in service to God, Church, family and friends. RIP Sue.

Dear Friend Sue

Sue Anderson My good friend and stampin' sister Sue Anderson passed away on March 1, 2011. She was such a sweetheart and such a great stamper, never afraid to tackle even difficult techniques. One night several years ago she and I and upline Sue, Sue A. was always known as "The Other Sue" had dinner together and talked late into the evening. I heard her life story. All the highs and lows. There were many. The one thing I walked away from that night was how much her boys, now adults and starting families of their own, meant to her. They were her everything, the thing that she always came back to, the thing that gave her reason to get up everyday. She was so proud of her boys. They were the "high" in her life. Sue I will miss you, miss spending Diva Days with you, and just your laugh, and smile, and talent. Now you will find peace and a place of happiness that you were always looking for. I will miss you The Other Sue!
