Diva Blog Hop December Gets Punchy

Arriving from Sue  http://stillstampingwithsue.typepad.com/ Or from Denise (there were technical problems)  http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/denisewilson/ blog Yes I am still in the Christmas card spirit. This December we are blog hopping about punches.  Stampin' Up! offers many types of punches: edge, basic shape, flowers (of course), tags and labels, and fun stuff (cupcakes, bow builders, trees and more).  I love punches almost (almost) as much as I love ribbon. I will include Thinlits and Framelits in this, as they cut paper in a shape. If you know Sandy, I do not do well with fussy cutting - as in hand cutting ornate shapes. This is why there are punches people!  Punches used in this card: ornate tag topper 137416, oops, spiral punch is retired (sorry, missed that on the retirement list), note tag punch 135860 DSP: Home for Christmas 139593 Holiday Catalog and Merry Everything Stamp set 135068/135071 Accent: Real Red Pom Pom Trim 139617 Holiday

Love to look at punch art, but not make it. So I went in a different direction.  The trees were from a previous project where I used the negative space. They have been run thru the same embossing folder as the top layer.  How is everyone doing getting ready for the holidays? I know some of you are likely to be fully decked by now. And shopped. And wrapped. We are just starting the shopping. We have nothing decked. It is our first full Christmas in the house and ther
