Altered Garden Journal

OK, first of all I apologize for the sideways photo.

I had purchased this inexpensive garden journal (a few of them actually) a number of years ago, intent on altering them. It comes in a clear plastic cover with some pockets in the back for seeds. They got stuffed in a box and forgotten. Well, I am very much in the urge to purge these days.

If I had a garden that was more than flowering shrubs I might enjoy this myself. It has spots for just about all things gardening. I have neither a green nor a brown thumb but rather deer and other wildlife which find tasty treats delectible.

So I forged ahead and decided to alter this one journal for now.

I took the picture not in the plastic sleeve so you could see it more clearly.

Stamps - none
Inks - none
Papers - tangerine tango, garden green (go figure), daffodil delight, basic black and bashful blue. This is a color combo right out of our new Color Combo chart!
Accessories - tasteful trim Big Shot die, daisies #2 Big Shot die, various circle punches.

I folded the scallop edge in half and lined it up almost to the edge of the die, so it would form a scalloped edge book like binding. So clever!
