Halloween Spooky #card

Our recent Stamp Share downline meeting held a swap for the new mini catalog. I used the new Halloween Happiness single stamp.  I like the texture of the pumpkins and can see a lot of possibilities with it.  I saw a grungy card this time. To get the herringbone background stamp not so perfect was a little harder than i imagined but I got the hang of it.  To do it do not evenly ink up the stamp (I used summer starfruit) and just light rock the card layer on the stamp. Stamp face up on the table. No rubbing the backside of the paper like you would normally do with a background stamp.

The big black splats were made using the Gorgeous Grunge splat and black ink.  I lightly ran a glue stick over the black and sprinkled the new Halloween glitter over the splats.  They come as a duo in fairly large containers of black and orange glitters.  Put this on your must have Halloween accessory.

I give this cards a 2 for difficulty. Pretty simple, but a little fussy with the herringbone piece and the glitter.

Thanks for stopping by, happy stampin, Sandy
