This card is from our recent Diva Day swap where the theme was punches/punch art. Love to look at punch art, but not make it. So I went in a different direction.
The trees were from a previous project where I used the negative space. They have been run thru the same embossing folder as the top layer.
How is everyone doing getting ready for the holidays? I know some of you are likely to be fully decked by now. And shopped. And wrapped. We are just starting the shopping. We have nothing decked. It is our first full Christmas in the house and there are still boxes and furniture if my parents sitting about. Which may mean no room for a tree. And between what we had and my parents had there are at least 7 trees of varying sizes. What decorations worked for the other house will not likely work here. We will figure something out.
We had a chimney sweep out last week. What I wanted most of all this holiday was a fire. He condemned the fireplace. Still waiting on an estimate. The mantel should be fun to decorate, though.
This card evokes a feeling of Christmas morning in a French Chateau. Soft colors with a hint of black and gold. C'est magnifique!
Thank you for stopping by.
Happy stamping, Sandy
