Diva Gift Bag & Tag Exchange

For our December Diva Downline meeting we held a gift bag and matching tag exchange. I had a little (okay A LOT!) of fun with this project. I ended up making three sets of gift bags and tags and added a matching card to each. I figured that those that didn't have time to participate would also go home with a project. In other words, I was feeling generous during the spirit of the season.

The first combination I made was of the traditional variety. I used reds and greens and the Dove stamp.

***full disclosure: most of these products are now retired. I wanted to share with you so you can borrow the layouts and color combinations. Therefore, I am not likely to list individual products, per usual.***

Okay, not completely true. In this combination, I used Merry Moments DSP, which is in the annual catalog, as is the vintage leaves die and the ribbon.

I did decorate the backs of all the bags too. I forgot to take pictures of those. So sorry. They were nice though.

Combination 1: Traditional gift bag, tag and matching card

I did not get a picture of the front of the tag, but you can picture it!

Combination 2: Modern Ritz gift bag, tag and matching card

Do you like how I lined up the Celebrate so the b loop lined up with the antlers? Silly and clever.

The tag for this combination was permanently attached to the bag.

The woodcuts are available still in the annual catalog. I colored them with the new Wink of Stella Gold, which is in the Occasions catalog starting January 5, 2016.

I am really, really going to miss this paper!!!
The embossing folder is a carryover item from the holiday catalog to the Occasions Catalog.
And the gold (and silver) doilies are in the annual catalog.
And I did decorate the back of this bag also using the gold stripe and the black marble papers.

Combination 3: Vintage Christmas bag, tag and matching card

Yes, my little Yule friend is from Sweden. My grandmother brought him back in maybe 1968 when she visited. My cat Little Girl grew quite enamored of my Yule Tomte friend over the holiday season.
Cozy Christmas and Home for the Holidays product line from the Holiday Catalog. Oh you will be missed!

I colored the yellow star button (from the Holiday Catalog) with the new Wink of Stella gold pen to give it even more shine.

I hand cut (fussy cut) all the presents. If you know me, I hate fussy cutting. But it really gave it the right look and the personal touch.

Another product I had a lot of fun with from the Holiday catalog - the red pompom fringe!
And again, there was another side to the tag, but I failed to take a picture.

The back side of the back was decorated in the same green card stock and the matching DSP.

Thank you for stopping by. I had so much fun making these products. I hope you enjoyed seeing them. I wish you the very best in 2016!

Happy Stamping, Sandy
