Completed kit of 20 cards and envelopes

What comes in your all-inclusive kit

148266 $35.00 US Kit
146854 $21.00 US refill

On Saturday, June 23, 2018 I had the pleasure of demonstrating the Notes of Kindness all-inclusive card kit at the Inking of You Extravaganza.

Me - the only picture I took of my booth!

I have really come to love and embrace kits. Here is my why: kits do not have to be the end. There is no law of crafting that ever says you have to make a kit the same as the instructions. Use kits as a jumping off point, a beginning point as it were, to start your creative juices. Of course, there is no reason you cannot just make a kit as is and have an easy time making 20 cards, and just be done.

This kit has a lot to offer. When they say it is all-inclusive, they mean it. It includes a new style of clear block (which has an amazing feel to it), it includes an ink spot (you can use your own full black ink pad if you wish), it includes a sheet of 100 dimensionals, and you will likely only use about 1/3 of them. There is a lovely stamp set with thank you greetings 3 ways and a few other stamps that you can use on other projects. There is a generous sheet of adhesive backed pears. It includes 20 lined envelopes. The pieces are either self adhesive or just punch out. There is minimal stamping. I could go on and on. Oh yes, and you can get a refill.

All you need to complete the kit are scissors for cutting the cord, and adhesive of your choosing (glue or SNAIL tape).

To make the kit as directed you will make 5 each of 4 card styles. See below for the 4 types of cards.

The base price of the kit puts the cards at about $1.75 US each, and with the refill they are $1.05 each. You cannot by supplies to make 20 cards and envelopes for that price. It is just a win-win all the way around. This is a big reason I have come to love our kits. The cards are notecard sized, around 3.5 inches by 5 inches. Which are mailable in the US.

The instructions, because we are a global company with many languages, are sorely lacking in definition. I played around with the cord lengths to get them to look like the pictures. There is no measurements posted in the instructions. Because of the super simple instructions, I have created a tips sheet for you to download.

Like all the PDF files I post, you can always find them be searching my site by kit or under my Tool Box tab.

In the coming days I will be posting my alternate projects I made with the kit. Hint: they are not all cards!

I hope this has you thinking about purchasing this kit or one of our other kits and giving them a try. I feel you will love them once you try them. Kits or Paper Pumpkin monthly subscription kits, are a fantastic thing to take on the road with you if you are traveling, or at a cabin, and know you will have some down time. Or bring it to the hospital when you are visiting a friend and you both can put it together.

Thank you for stopping by today. Keep being your creative best! Sandy
