Coloring rediscovered - Blendabilities

Last night since I was feeling too crummy for much else, or more like, I was itching to play, I broke open my new blendabilities. My annual retired sale was to have been that day but I cancelled cuz my son and I have some kind of bug. Seems cruel when we finally have great weather!

This stamp is a carryover from the Spring Occasions catalog. So glad I had it. It just beds to be colored.

Now as a youth you couldn't keep coloring books in the house. I would sit for hours on Saturday morning at the kitchen table watching cartoons on the little Black and white TV. Later they colored the cartoons (we got a small color TV). I had a Pink Panther book, peanuts, and so many others. My stack was over a foot tall. Then I stopped coloring all together. Any of you color much in adulthood?

Now I am interested again. The three color system of Blendabiities makes coloring fun. Right now Stampin' Up! Is releasing just 12 colors with more to come. I have six of the colors

$11.95 per pack of three markers. Each marker pack comes with the original Stampin' Up! Color and a lighter and darker version. Skin tone pack of six colors is $22.95. At less than $4 per very good quality alcohol based marker it is a very good value. The memento ink pad $5.95 132708 is the recommended ink to use. It's black. The color lifter works like magic $4.95 129369. It lightens or removes the color. Magic indeed.

So as I rediscover coloring of the more modern and sophisticated type, I will be posting more ideas.

Thank you for stopping by, Happy stamping, Sandy
