Fun Cards I'd Like to Call Limited Supply Challenge!

At our Red Carpet New Catalog Premier on April 29th, my upline Sue organized a swap and was unfortunately unable to be there due to the flu. Who gets the flu in the spring? Poor dear. I wish you well Sue! If there is a Stampin' Up! event there is always bound to be some swapping. I was surprised by how many that attended our local event (around 350?) didn't swap. Country-wide too. I was hearing a lot of chatter about no one swapping that was attending the big event. This is the time of the year as products and catalogs change that I want ideas to carry me through.

You can tell I am getting more on top of my game in that I am only posting these cards a week late (smile)! Might have gotten to it this weekend but since it was actually nice in MN we cleaned out the garage. If we finished our patio and I sold the rest of my retired Stampin' Up! products we could park two cars easy into the garage. Getting closer all the time. We do not have a very deep garage. It looks deceiving because the ceiliing is so tall. I digress, sorry. ;-)

Personally I would like to rename this swap to "limited supply challenge". Product had to be current, as in not on the retiring list and will be in the new catalog (which we had not seen yet). Ribbons? Like 3 rolls only to choose from. So that is what I started with. What ribbon I had left. And this stamp set? Didn't even know I had it until I was pulling my retiring stamp sets.  I really like it. Its a more fun lighthearted version of Blooming with Kindness.  Both have a great central large flower and several greeting choices. This one is called Gifts of Kindness 130441 w 130444 c. So color and stamps were set and figured out a layout and away I went. I like how the embossed dotted Soft Sky piece matches the dots in the flower. Picture does not show them well but you get the idea.

Yeah suffice to say, cleaning off my shelves of retiring product, boo, ribbons always the hardest to say goodbye too. I had several rarely loved stamp sets, mostly because of the darn knees kept me away from a lot of things. But not anymore!

Here are the rest of the swaps, no credit to the creators, sorry. Just know I really appreciate your works of art. You are a very talented bunch!!! (22 cards)

notice all the handcutting? Appreciate that so much. You do not see me doing it very often. Thats what punches and Framelits are made for LOL.
 (my upline Denise's creative card)

triple time stamping technique. I have posted a how to on this before, last summer some time.

 Amy's (a sideline) card.

I am pretty sure this is Beth T's card

I used this card as my inspiration for my new Cards & Coffee class.

I seriously cannot get enough of the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. How about you?

Again this was an inspiration for my new C&C class. Thanks Brenda C.

Thank you for stopping by. Happy to share what I love. Happy stamping, Sandy
