And So the Summer Goes...

The theme for my summer is "The Best Laid Plans.." Lol!

Husband out of town for 24/25 days caring for a family member and dealing with all the family drama that comes with that situation. Kids in and out and in and out of house and projects and camps. My mother is falling again and should be moved to an assisted living facility. Summer house projects started and interrupted. Visiting colleges (gasp!) Crafting time that comes in binge modes. It has been crazy I tell ya. I keep saying my schedule is a moving target. It truly has been. Would love to be having more classes, making more youtube videos and more, but things just keep interrupting.

The best part of all this is with the job I have, with the company I have, somehow it all works. Somehow what absolutely needs to get done, gets done. Though I am sad that the Inspire*Create*Share 2014 Convention is happening in days and for the first time since 2010 I am not attending, it is all for the best. (or at least I keep telling myself that).

With all the crazy schedule this summer, yesterday I sat outside soaking up a few rays for 45 minutes. I do not relax well. Never have. I like to keep my schedule full. My family likes it that way also. So for 45 blissful minutes yesterday, I sat outside and did nothing. I actually set my phone aside. It was nice and I got my Vitamin D requirement out of the way. There was a lovely song bird on the bushes near me that filled the air with a beautiful song. Not sure what bird though. It was a tune I am not familiar with.

As I hit the halfway point of summer, I need to try and get some order to the schedule. There are the must do this summer items and the I would like to do this summer items.

I hope you find your summer fulfilling and sun soaked. What is your must do this summer?

Thank you for stopping by, Happy Stamping, Sandy
