Hope Your Day is Amazing

This card may be amazing but it was fairly simple to create. It uses products from the Garden Impressions product suite in the Occasions 2019 catalog on pages 128-130. The suite is somewhat inspired by the Impression art era.

I did make this for a swap needed in April. I did find one problem to my layout. Not a super big deal, just the nature of crafting in bulk. The some of the sheets in Garden Impressions DSP designer papers are directional. Since I cut the paper 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches and then cut in half diagonally, I couldn't flip the other half because it would put the patter upside down. So I just adhered it in the upper right corner, changing the placement. It worked.

Recipe:
Stamps: Abstract Impressions 21 photopolymer stamps 147513 $26.00, Share What You Love stamp set (background behind the words)
Inks: Memento Ink, Soft Seafoam ink
Papers: Garden Impressions DSP designer papers 146289 $11.00, Soft Seafoam cardstock, Crushed Curry cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock,
Accessories: Springtime Impressions Dies 146326 $29.00, Pearls 144219 $5.00, green stampin' Blends (don't remember the color)
Save: Bundle stamps and dies and save 10% (until June 3rd) 148348 $49.50

Demonstrator Tip: If you have trouble with your intricate dies, like the butterfly, not completely cutting out the non image waste from the butterfly, turn your whole die cutting sandwich (cutting plate, die, paper, cutting plate) upside-down on the base plate (in this case, the magnetic platform) and run through one or two times. Usually negative pieces pop right out then. You might need a piercing tool or die cutting brush to remove just a few.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Happy Stamping, Sandy
