My friend and upline Denise, recently turned a milestone birthday. See pictures for which milestone! LOL
She loves her dragonflies. So I thought why not combine dragonflies and the milestone for a beautiful card. She also loves more earthy colors. This is one of the perks of making a custom handmade card, you can get quite customized for the receiver.
Card Recipe
Stamps: Dragonfly Dreams 142924 $21
Inks: Soft Suede ink 147115 $7.50, Black Memento 132708 $6,
Papers: Nature's Poem DSP $11 146338, Silver Foil paper 146960 $5, Whisper White 100730 $9.75, Tranquil Tide 144246 $8.50, Soft Suede 115318 $8.50,
Accessories: Detailed Dragonfly dies 142749 $31, Window Sheets 142314 $5, Foam Adhesive Strips 141825 $8, Rectangles Stitched Dies 148551 $35, Burlap Ribbon
For this project I did extend the window sheet beyond the cardstock frame to create a different effect. I love how that turned out. It gives a modern floating frame look to the central image.
To give the dragonfly flight, I stamped the bottom image after inking it up then stomped two more times without inking in between. This is a great way to show movement on your projects.
I hope you enjoyed my flight of the dragonfly today.
Happy stamping, Sandy
