It is with sadness that I had to create this card. My dear friend Sandy's mom passed away suddenly last week. I have known Sandy and her family since 3rd grade when we got our Bibles together at a church. We have been friends since. I spent time at their cabin, ironically on a lake called Big Sandy. Yup. Sandy and Sandy on Big Sandy. Insert joke here -> ________! We are Godmothers to each of our sons. Her father passed away about 20 years ago from cancer.
Her mother was a no nonsense, deeply religious, big hearted lady. She loved nature, and time outside fishing with her grandsons or just hanging out at the cabin. I will miss her. My whole family will miss her. We say goodbye to her today at the log church down the road from the cabin she so loved to spend time at all year.
