Saturdays have me thinking guys and dads that would spend the day fixing things around the house and tinkering in their tool shed. My husband is a more modern sort who's idea of fixing means optimizing the internet and playing GTA 5 on Saturday mornings drinking coffee. My own dad was definitely of the spending the day tinkering sort. He loved that sort of thing. When he passed away a few years ago, I came up with the quote "he could fix anything, not well, but he could fix anything." And boy was that ever so true. As long as whatever it was worked, drained, had electricity or otherwise stayed glued together we were good.
We won't talk about the pipes that we have found that are only resting together and not connected. They drain. Surprisingly they do not leak much, but they are not to code and certainly wasn't the best work.

Do you have a fix it guy in your life, and he really fixes things? You are blessed. I am happy with my modern man, who is learning home repair and improvement, but it is certainly not his first choice with how to spend his Saturdays.
