This was a case from onestampinmothertucker.blogspot.com which I found on Pinterest. I changed up the red and a few other details. But she nailed it from the beginning. Why invent an already very good wheel, right?
I have had a lot of people ask where that designer paper came from. Ha ha. Its one of the stamps in the Wood Words sets. Honestly, I have been having a lot of fun lately making my own DSP, as it were, with just stamps and some ink. It is an old technique, an older idea. But sometimes what is old, is new again.

Wood Textures contains that fantastically realistic wood paper stack, Wood Words stamp set which has 8 great greetings, a beautiful floral image, and four great shapes, including the rooster! The suite also contains the beautiful new copper trim, the wood crate framelits, which corresponds and cuts out several of the stamped images. And the burlap ribbon would also be a nice addition. You cannot go wrong with this product suite. It is so on trend and cute and easy to work with.
And a little tip I learned about the wood crate die, you can get two from a 6x6 sheet of paper. You will just cut off a little of the bottom of the box. But since the box base overlaps once it is assembled, and really does not show, it does not matter.
