Continuing what seems to be my Americana theme (appropriately) this week, this week girl is from the Birthday Memories product suite on pages 68-69 Annual Catalog.
The Birthday Memories suite is another great product suite in the new catalog. It contains a 23 piece stamp set that has 11 great greetings, and 12 images that coordinates with a framelits stamp set. And there is a beautiful pack of DSP designer paper that guess what???? our framelits cut out some of the images in the paper. There are also ribbons and honeycomb balloons that coordinate with the suite. You cannot go wrong with this suite and it is so easy to make beautiful projects.
I have heard some say that this suite is juvenile. I say hogwash to that. When you look at the images and the papers, yes, there are a few possibly kid specific items. The fox reminds me of Richard Scarry books. The poodle is timeless. The little girl looks like Jane from Dick and Jane or Shirley Temple. The cake an chef are also timeless. And the flag banner that has a few greetings designed to fit right in there is so cute. The paper contains some solid like papers and a beautiful crumb cake patterned paper.
The colors in the suite are crumb cake, pacific point, old olive, real red, blushing bride, daffodil delight, early espresso, lemon lime twist (still do not see it), pumpkin pie, rich razzleberry, soft sky, sweet sugarplum and whisper white.
In other words, a lot of color coordination for just about any occasion!
There is a bundle, I listed it below, where you can get the three main pieces of this product suite for one price. Saves some money and you know you are going to want all three pieces anyway!
To make the rays behind the girl, I used an extra daisy I had and cut it in half! And there is a frame lit that could cut the girl out of the paper.
I cannot stop playing with this suite! I keep coming up with more ideas. Eventually I will need to put it aside to play with some of my other new products that I haven't touched yet, like Color Theory product suite, Ribbon of Courage and more!
