Isn't this a beautiful framed piece? The background is one sheet of designer series paper from the Birthday Memories pack. I cut a small section off another of the same piece for the striped border you see.The ribbon is the new stitched edge 1/4" ribbon that comes in 4 colors - Pacific Point, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, and Rich Razzleberry. see page 198 Annual Catalog for more information.
It did take quite a bit of the paper to make this since I cut out so much of different pieces. You can see that the little girl is holding 3 of the new honeycomb balloons.
I had to fussy cut some of the hats and other animal parts, like the squirrel. I really wanted the different parts to pop. I would still like to add some words, maybe PARTY, across the background.
The frame is from Michaels and is an album/LP frame. I placed the assembly on top of the glass.
I will not be listing separate supplies. They are on my July 7th blog post. It seems fitting to end my Americana week with a big splash of this framed party celebration.
