Graduation Gift Card Purse

Stamps: Great Grads
Inks: StayzOn Opaque White, Brilliant Blue, Pink Passion
Papers: Brilliant Blue, Pink Passion, White
Accessories: Word Window punch, rub-ons, white taffeta ribbon, 1 3/8 and 1/1/4" circle punches, corner rounder, pink rhinestone (non-SU!)
This was a -quick, we have to be there in an hour- gift card holder. Taking a quick peak at Splitcoast Stampers I got a feel for what shape the purse should be. Made a quick pattern, which I will not post yet, it needs some work. As I said, this was a -hurry up- type item.
Wanting to use the Great Grads set (it is so cute!) came up with a way to incorporate it into the purse. The flower is the rub-on. Had I had time, it would have looked much more polished. I probably would have heat embossed the "grad" words to make it match the rub-on. I managed to whip this out in under a half hour (and I think it shows :-( ) I saved the pattern, such that it is and would like to try playing with this idea later on this summer. I think it has promise.
This card holder was done for my cousins daughters' graduation. She is a pinky kind of gal and the school colors were white and brilliant blue.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Keep being creative, Sandy
