Cuz You're a Cool Guy!

For some reason I love the blue handles on these tools! I actually just love the colors in this card. The cool blue of Pacific Point, the black and silver foil, I am not sure why I didn't put these colors together before. Well, I did now.

No formal recipe today!

I am back from my girls retreat weekend. I worked on OnStage Convention swaps the first night. And the a lot of scrapbooking. I was working on our California 2016 trip. Man we made a lot of stops in the first 24 hours. I am not joking when I say I am at 25 pages already and that includes zero of our Disneyland stop. All of it is relevant and rememberable. No wonder we were tired by the third morning, after the second night. Whew! I am doing it all digital for this. I want to be able to make copies for the kids down the road. I am still not sure how many pictures I took in that weeks trip, maybe 1500 just myself. And that is the edited down version, tossing the outtakes and useless photos. We jammed a lot into a weeks activity. Worth remembering.

I got tired of working on that trip so I switched gears. I started journaling my old jobs. I tend to stick with jobs a while, years usually. And they all have made an impact on me. I thought it important to journal that. I completed a page for my first job. The next two jobs are works in progress. But more on this later in the week.

Anyhoooooo, its good to be home. Always fun to get away and have all those late night friend chats, but equally good to come home to family. My husband survived his fiftieth birthday just fine. My son did some nice things for him. I left cards and presents scattered around the house. It was enough hoopla for him. He ended up supervising an impromptu bonfire party of teens, who were all quiet and respectful. Guess my son earned a chance at another one. At least before the mosquitos come out for the season. Thank goodness we had s'mores stuff on hand. That is something I have always tried to keep on hand, because when you need it, you usually do not have time to run to the store to go get it.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I certainly did. ~Sandy
