Happy OnStage Day!!!

I'm so excited! I just can't hide it!

Today is OnStage 2017, formerly the Stampin' Up! Convention. But it is now held 2 times a year and in various locations around the globe. Today it is held in my own (almost literally) backyard in Minneapolis.

I have not attended a formal event since July of 2015, when they held the last Convention in Salt Lake City. I even stayed in a hotel close to the Minneapolis Convention Center, just to keep the feel of the former Convention. Plus, as close as I am, I do not move very fast these days (knee issues) and the closer I am the better for timeliness come Saturday morning!

During the day I will be participating in two organized swaps. What this means is we signed up ahead of time and will meet at a designated time and location and sometimes a theme. We are exchanging cards. No theme. And let me tell you, trying to figure out items that may not retire and that I still have plenty of supplies when there is less than two months left in the catalog cycle is a challenge. I am always up for a challenge.

I just love the sweetness of this card. My swaps contain the current bi-color doily that is in the Occasions catalog right now. I ran short of 2 doilies! It is for my Stamp Share for Leaders swap. This group is one I have swapped with at several Conventions and a lot of them at local events too. Stellar swaps always!!!
