Feeling Sweet Today! Sweet Sugarplum Card

This Sweet Sugarplum color is really starting to grow on me! I am not a big fan of purples and pinks normally but the color marries so well with other colors in the Stampin' Up! palette.

This is an easy to cut card. Its all cut squares. No framelits were harmed in the making of this card! Okay maybe the heart. If we had had the Stitched Shapes framelits when this card was made, that would have made it even better. And the paper and inspiration came from the Playful Palette Suite in the Annual Catalog.

Stamps: Timeless Textures 140514 28.00 w 140517 20.00 c, Layering Love 141962 $21.00 w 141965 16.00 c
Inks: Sweet Sugarplum 141395
Papers: Very Vanilla 101650, Sweet Sugarplum 141418, Basic Black 121045, Playful Palette Designer Paper Stack 141657 $10.00,
Accessories: Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon 141418 $8.00, Rhinestones 119246 $5.00, Sweet & Sassy Framelits 141707 $35.00

Because the Timeless Textures stamp is not as long as my paper, I just stamped it near each edge of the paper since the blank area would be hidden by the focal point object. And I didn't stamp all the way to the long edge of the paper because the ribbon hid that blank space. Got it?

I do love the saying on the focal point. Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart. This is so incredibly true for all of us. An unexpected hug from a small child. Getting a call from someone you haven't talked to in ages. Getting a handmade card in the mail!!! All these small gestures are small and can mean so much to those on the receiving end of them. Put a smile on someones face today!

Thanks for stopping by, Sandy
