Oh Baby!

I am in love with this Moon Baby set! I kept this card super simple so as not to take away from the cuteness of the stamps.

My cousins daughter had her first son a month ago. The baby rooms colors are navy and gray (I approve!) so I wanted to keep to their theme. I kept baby's pajamas a bit brighter so it would pop off the page a bit more. I love the new watercolor pencils but had not used them in about six weeks, for some reason. they are easy to use. Pretty hard to make anything watercolored look bad.

I added a tiny amount of shadow using the slate pencil, which is a great color for shadows and accents.

It doesn't look like it, but both focal point pieces are the same size. If I remember correctly it was 2 x 3 inches.

Here are the supplies needed to complete this card (prices in US dollars):

Stamps: Moon Baby 143082 $28.00 (wood blocks included) • 143085 $20.00 (suggested clear blocks: a, b, d, g, h)
Inks: Archival Black for watercoloring 141931 $7
Papers: White 100730 $9, Floral Boutique designer paper (I'm almost out!) 141663 $11, Smoky Slate 131202 $8,
Accessories: Layering Oval framelits 141706 $35, Watercolor Pencils 141709 $16, aqua painter 103954 $17 for 2, Night of Navy bakers twine 141684 $3,

Sorry this is sideways, the file was correct until I imported it. Not a problem I normally have an issue with. This is just a reminder to stamp the inside of the card too!

Thank you for stopping by the creative place today! -Sandy
